Indian Coast Guard invites applications for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant General Duty, Commercial Pilot License (SSA), General Duty (SSA), Technical Engineering & Electrical) and Law for 01-2020 Batch. Age limit - As per the post, it has been set differently.

(a) General Duty
Post on - Male
 Education Qualificatlion-
i) Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree
 minimum 60% marks in aggregate  BE/B.Tech

(b) General Duty (SSA)
Physics and Maths in
10+2(intermediate) or equivalent level are
not eligible for General Duty (GD) and General Duty (SSA)

(c) Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL)(SSA)
 Post - Male
Education Qualification-
 Candidates holding current/ valid Commercial
Pilot Licence (CPL) issued/ validated by Director
General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
 Minimum educational qualification - XIIth pass (Physics
and Mathematics) with 60% marks in aggregate.

(d) Technical(Engineering Electrical

Post - Male/ Female
Education Qualification-
(i) Engineering degree with 60% marks in
(ii) Atleast 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and
Maths in 12th class.
Three year diploma course with an aggregate of

(e) Law
Post - Male/ Female
Education Qualification-
 degree in Law with minimum 60% marks (Three years degree in law

Age Relexcation-

  •  The upper age limit of OBC/SC & ST is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules .
  • Age Relexcation areMaximum 5% relaxation degree certificate for SC/STcandidates, NCC ‘C’ (A grade) holders, Sports person of National level (Inter State & above)
